我厂成立于1986年。原名“上海市医药管理局技工学校机加工实习工场”。1987年学校结合医疗器械行业的特点，开始自行研制医疗器械产品，开发成功医用多功能推床，同年加入了上海市医疗器械行业协会，成为理事会员。
1994年，为顺应生产经营发展的需要，实习工场更名为“上海市医药管理局技工学校工厂。工场更名后，在加强市场营销力度的同时，进一步强化新品开发，形成专业生产以高强度铝合金为主要原材料的医用床类、救护担架类两大系列产品。我厂生产的产品市场覆盖面不断扩大，产品除直销医院外，还扩展到全国各地的急救中心、部队、武警和救护车制造改装厂，部分产品出口国外市场。
2001年5月，我厂更名为“上海光谊医疗器械厂”。
我厂经过近二十年的努力拓展，各项管理工作严谨规范，产品的制造工艺日渐完善，培养和造就了一支拥有较高专业技能素养的员工队伍。“技术先进、品质完美、顾客满意是我们一贯追求的目标。”的质量方针深入我厂每一位员工的心中。我厂正严格按照ISO 9001:2000标准建立、实施质量管理体系。

Shanghai Guangyi Medical Instruments Factory (GMIF) was established in 1986 and is a member of Shanghai Medical Instrument Trade Association . GMIF has made continuous efforts in the research of medical treatment appliances since its establishment and has become an enterprise of such products as stretchers and medical beds made of high strength aluminum alloy type material.
Guangyi products are characterized of pleasing appearance, flexible structure, scientific and reasonable use of material and convenient operation. Its products have be sold to the hospitals, emergence centers, the army, arsenal and manufacturers of ambulance all over China, with some products being exported to other countries.
Shanghai GMIF has been recognized by ISO9001: 2000 international quality management system authentication for its work in the completion of management and its motto of "quality the first and management the most important". In its pursuing of the aim of "advanced technology, perfect quality and satisfactory customers", it is carving out with initiatives so as to realize a new round of development.
